The current NBA points per game leader for 2025-26 is shown at rank #1 in the leaderboard above. The full rankings are updated daily after every completed game. Click any player\'s name to view their Statz profile — game logs, prop hit rates and active streaks are all available.

To qualify for the official NBA scoring title, a player must have played in at least 58 games during the regular season (70% of the 82-game schedule). If a player leads in PPG without meeting the games-played requirement, the next eligible player receives the title. On this leaderboard, all players are ranked regardless of games played — so players returning from injury with a small sample may appear high with fewer games.

The scoring leaderboard identifies high-volume scorers whose prop lines may trail their actual output. The headline PPG average alone is insufficient — check the player's L5 and L10 hit rate on the Statz hit rates page to see if they are currently outperforming their line. Combine PPG data with active player streaks and tonight's matchup for the strongest prop signal.

Michael Jordan holds the record with 10 NBA scoring titles. Wilt Chamberlain won 7 titles including his legendary 1961-62 season at 50.4 PPG. In the modern era, Kevin Durant has won 4 scoring titles. High-usage scorers with strong prop track records — visible on each player's Statz page — are the most reliable points prop targets.
