Player Streaks

An NBA player streak on Statz tracks consecutive games in which a player has met or exceeded a specific statistical threshold — for example, 20+ points, 8+ rebounds or 2+ steals in consecutive games. Streaks reset as soon as a player falls below the threshold or does not play. Only active streaks of 5 or more consecutive games are shown on this page. Data is updated daily after every completed NBA game in the 2025-26 season.

A player on a 7+ game streak above a stat threshold is demonstrably and consistently outperforming that line in real games. Sportsbook lines often lag behind current form — particularly for secondary markets like rebounds, assists and steals. Use streaks alongside hit rate data (L5/L10) and the upcoming opponent's defensive rating for the most complete prop betting signal. The "Higher Odds Only" filter surfaces players where the market is still offering value.

Points streaks at lower thresholds (10+, 15+) tend to run longest because elite and even mid-tier scorers consistently exceed those baselines. Steals streaks are notable for high-activity perimeter defenders — a player averaging 1.8 steals per game can streak for long periods at the 1+ threshold. Rebounds streaks at the 6+ and 8+ level are common for starting big men with strong positional roles. Assists streaks above 5+ are the most volatile due to game-pace and shot-creation variance.

The "Higher Odds Only" filter (default: on) shows only players where the available odds are above 1.25 in decimal format. Odds at 1.25 or below (equivalent to approximately -400 American) represent very short-priced markets with limited value. Filtering for odds above 1.25 surfaces streaks where there is still meaningful return for backing the player to continue their run.

The match date filter on Statz player streaks shows upcoming games over the next 3 days. Selecting a specific date filters all streak tables to show only players who have a game on that date — so you can quickly build a shortlist of actionable streaks for today or tomorrow's slate. Combine with the "Higher Odds Only" filter and Sort By "Odds High → Low" for the most targeted prop research view.
