Two archetypes lead the Stl+Blk leaderboard: (1) long, versatile defenders who guard the perimeter (generating steals) while also protecting the rim (generating blocks) — Victor Wembanyama is the extreme modern example; and (2) active perimeter wing defenders in switching schemes who pressure passing lanes and still have enough length to block shots. Traditional rim-protecting centres with limited lateral mobility generate blocks but few steals, limiting their combined total.

Stl+Blk combined props appear on platforms with deep prop offerings, though less commonly than PRA or points markets. When available, they represent value opportunities because the market receives less sharp attention — books update steals and blocks lines less frequently than primary markets. Achieving both steal and blocks titles simultaneously is extremely rare. David Robinson accomplished it twice (1991-92, 1994-95) and Hakeem Olajuwon won both in 1989-90. In the modern era, no player has simultaneously led both categories. Victor Wembanyama is the most likely candidate to achieve this feat given his unprecedented defensive versatility — 7'4" with elite perimeter quickness and a wingspan exceeding 8 feet.
